The mouse definitely faked you out big time in the end.

I can't believe it's you and not Anonymous. This is an important moment in global commentary.

As to the observation -- the suspense! -- YES. I was just getting ready to make my move. I shall never know how that mouse felt, but I wanted to be friends. Alas.

LEI v. SWA in two days. After the fixture, maybe we can find Maxi prowling in the alleyway and go lookin' for mice!

tpw, good sir. kind halloos and salutations. indeed, i was just getting ready to befriend that mouse, when the mouse -- as you observe -- gave me the slip. in the end, we were just two strangers from opposite taxonomies. funny, but i seem to recall a u.s. president promising "no new taxonomies." all the taxonomies that i encounter seem to be the same ol' taxonomies. i spoze that bloke got it right-wing & all. yrs, b.a.

Poor mouse. Dan, I love your films. Working on that retrospective for you at AFI. Phyllis

Hi Phyllis, Thanks for your kind words. I should call this style of cinematography "Mouse Minimalism." Actually, I have a second film in which the mouse has a (mouse) friend. They run around like keystone kops. Perhaps I can exhibit that fifteen second Mouse Minimalism at the retrospective. Ha ha ha! Talk to you soon. -------BA
